Welcome to the online home of Westerville Pediatric Specialists, Inc. Our mission is to provide comprehensive care to your children, from the nursery through adolescence. Messages through the portal should only be used for routine well child appointments. If your child happens to be ill, please call our office to schedule your child to be seen. Please allow 24-48 business hours for us to respond to messages sent through the portal!

Our qualified doctors and staff have dedicated their lives and careers to caring for the health and well-being of your children. Trust in their expertise to effectively diagnose and treat any illnesses your children may have and to maintain the overall quality of your children's health.

We are currently located at 575 Westar Crossing, Suite 101, Westerville, 43082 (off Cleveland Avenue and County Line Road), with a second office at 700 West Cherry Street, Suite B, Sunbury, 43074.

We offer evening and Saturday hours in our Westerville office, as well as 24-hour call coverage.             

*Telemedicine is now being offered (wps.doxy.me) for certain office visits, such as medication checks, ADHD, rechecks & certain sick visits. Click here for more information.

Meet Our Pediatric Staff

  • Michael J. Leymaster, M.D., F.A.A.P.

    He graduated from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and completed his residency in pediatrics at Case Western Reserve University/MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland in June 2002. Dr. Leymaster enjoys all areas of pediatrics and has a special interest in sports medicine. He is board certified, a Fellow in the American Academy of Pediatrics (F.A.A.P.) and is the former chair of pediatrics at Mount Carmel/St Ann's. Dr. Leymaster joined our practice in July 2002.

  • Michelle E. Yaw, M.D., F.A.A.P.

    Her pediatric training was completed at Wright State University School of Medicine/The Children's Medical Center of Dayton in 1998. Before joining our practice in 2006, she was in private practice for eight years in the Dayton, Ohio, area. Dr. Yaw is board certified and is a Fellow in the American Academy of Pediatrics (F.A.A.P.). She is an associate professor at Wright State University.

  • Amanda Jett, RN, MS, CPNP-PC

    Completed her undergraduate studies at The Ohio State University in 2002 before returning for her nursing degree and master of nursing in advanced practice, specializing in pediatrics. She is board certified and joined our practice in 2018.
